Are you ready to go beyond traditional approaches to stuttering?
Join us for this exclusive, in-depth workshop series exploring powerful psychotherapy modalities that address the emotional, psychological, and physical dimensions of stuttering. Based on overwhelming positive feedback from our introductory session March 2025!
What Makes This Workshop Special
After Naomi’s highly rated introductory session (4.73/5 stars!), participants asked for deeper exploration of these transformative approaches. Now, we're offering exactly that - a hands-on, experiential series focused on the three modalities that resonated most with our community:
Workshop Series Breakdown
Each session builds on the next, creating a comprehensive understanding of how different therapeutic approaches can support people who stutter:
Session 1: Internal Family Systems (IFS) & Stuttering | May 18
Discover how to identify and work with different "parts" of yourself that influence your stuttering experience. Learn practical techniques to foster self-compassion and develop a more accepting relationship with your speech.
Session 2: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) & Stuttering | May 25
Experience how mindfulness and values-based action can transform your relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions around stuttering. Reduce avoidance behaviors and increase authentic self-expression.
Session 3: Sensorimotor Psychotherapy & Stuttering | June 8
Explore the powerful connection between your body and stuttering patterns. Learn to attune to your nervous system, regulate tension, and use body awareness to support more relaxed, comfortable speech.
