Uri Schneider

Uri Schneider, M.A. CCC-SLP, is the founder and director of Schneider Speech, a boutique practice specializing in stuttering, voice, and communication - with offices in New York, New Jersey, and Israel.

For more than 25 years, Uri has worked with people of all ages who stutter, struggle with voice challenges, or feel held back by the way they communicate. His approach is different from most. He doesn't treat speech in isolation. He works with the whole person - real life goals, not just clinical benchmarks. New skills, stronger mindset, and the confidence to show up in the conversations that matter.

The results speak for themselves. Literally.

Uri studied at Queens College, CUNY - earning his B.A. in business, linguistics, and communications, and his M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology. He is former faculty at UC Riverside School of Medicine and has presented at conferences and workshops across the US and internationally. He is an active member of ASHA, NSA, SFA, and ISHLA, among others.

He co-produced two documentaries - Transcending Stuttering: The Inside Story and Going with the Flow: The Guide to Transcending Stuttering. He founded and hosts TranscendingX, a podcast and community built around one belief: people can grow through adversity and achieve great success - not only in spite of it, but because of it.

Beyond the clinic, Uri works with business leaders and executives on communication and performance at urischneider.com.

He's a trail runner, and a proud dad to four rising stars.

“I met Uri at the lowest point in my level of confidence and quality of life. I received online therapy for just 6 months. My communication skills, confidence and attitude were completely transformed - both in my professional and personal life.”

- Dr. Alexander Egbe

“Uri is one of the most outstanding speech-language pathologists that I have had the pleasure to work with. He combines a strong theoretical knowledge base with excellent clinical skills. Coupling these attributes with his warmth, humor and enthusiasm, he has impacted tremendous growth.”

- Nancy Morgenroth, Director of Admissions and Speech-Language
